TESCO colleagues at Launceston cycled 345 miles at their Cycle to Lapland event this Christmas to raise £745 for Diabetes UK.

The money raised counts towards their £10-million target for Diabetes UK, Tesco's national charity partner.

Paul Amandi, director of fundraising for Diabetes UK said: "We are so grateful to all the Tesco colleagues at Launceston for clocking up the miles at their cycle to Lapland event and to all their customers who donated.

"As well as getting people in the Christmas spirit, this has helped raise valuable funds for Diabetes UK's work."
