An eclectic and inspiring display of art will be showcased at The Pearl Exchange in November.
Sculptures, drawings, prints, textiles and photographs will make up the November exhibition in a celebration of young, local talent, featuring work from emerging artists as well as those with less experience.
Visitors are invited to tour the exhibition, featuring the work of local artists aged 18 to 35 between the November 26 to 27 at The Pearl Exchange’s home at The Pitch & Putt in Bude.
Showcasing art made by attendees in their own free creative workshops, The Pearl Exchange’s exhibition will give young creatives the opportunity to exhibit and sell their pieces.
The Pearl Exchange is partnering with Seventh Wave Gallery to fund free framing for the exhibition, allowing the young artists to sell their artwork with no fees or commission.
“This exhibition is a celebration of the hard work and commitment that our participants show. It’s a chance to bring a cultural happening to our small community and welcome people through the door. We can’t wait to give everyone a taste of what The Pearl Exchange is all about.”
Tom Pennick, Creative Programme Manager: “The Pearl Exchange has rekindled my love for the arts and given me something worthwhile to put my energy into”
Some of the artwork is available for purchase, with 100% of profits going to the artists themselves. Entry is free.
