Because of gale force winds by the cenotaph at Tintagel, it was impossible to place the wreaths against it. Organisations stood in front of the cenotaph for a moment with their wreaths. Then they were taken for the first time in memory, to the porch of St Materiana’s Church at Tintagel and placed on either side.
