A FORMER Davidstow resident has, in light of other recent 'sightings' across the 'Post' area, revealed pictures of what she believes could be evidence large wild cats are dwelling in North Cornwall.

Taken one snowy March morning, Angie Springall's pictures show large paw prints of around 10cm in length, and in 30cm strides, in the garden of her property.

The photographs are over six years old now, and remain consistent with the reports provided recently from people in Langore, Egloskerry and Launceston.

Angie, whilst admitting she isn't 100 per cent sure where the prints could have come from, said that there was a likelihood they were left by a large cat.

She told the 'Post': "At the time my family and I were living in the Davidstow area, and on the morning of March 4, 2005 there was a light covering of snow on the ground and we noticed some unusual animal tracks — in the garden and around by the outbuildings."
