A PAUL Menhinick strike four minutes from time earned Camelford a narrow Division One West victory.

The home side opened the scoring after 20 minutes when Perran Reynolds beat 'keeper Stuart Hill from ten yards.

The visitors were back on level terms within five minutes when Dave Cann was brought down in the area and Menhinick stroked home the resulting penalty.

Camelford missed a great chance to take the lead midway through the second hale when Mike Kempthorne was fouled in the box but home 'keeper Ben Nurse pulled off a great save from Mark Gusterton's spot kick.

Mousehole then had James Tonkin sent off for a foul on Gusterton and it needed two more fine saves by Nurse from Cameron Palin and Cann to keep the scores level.

However, with five minutes remaining Gyles Reynolds slipped the ball to Menhinick who chipped over the advancing Nurse to end the home side's brave rearguard action.

LAUNCESTON drew 0-0 at Buckland in the Premier Division.
