LEWANNICK Garden Club held its 11th flower show and plant sale recently.
The entries this year were of a high standard, despite the varied weather this spring.
There were a large number of single flower exhibits and various plants and floral displays.
The best exhibit in the show was a houseplant, an orchid exhibited by Mrs Pat Dibb.
Three local plant growers attended the event, with a large range of plants and shrubs for sale.
Around 100 people turned out to support the event, which helps raise funds for the Garden Club.
The club welcomes anyone to go along and join its meetings, held on the first Wednesday of each month at Lewannick Village Hall. For details phone Tim Ellis on 07973 771338.
