BLISLAND celebrated its patronal festival — St Pratts Festival — on Sunday.
There was a cluster service at St Protus and St Hyacinth’s Church, attended by around 40 people.
Around 30 people took part in the annual procession to the cross. Due to the inclement weather, there was no singing during the procession, but Camelford Town Band played at the cross and then at the green, while those gathered sang hymns.
Those who attended, including residents of St Breward, Helland and St Mabyn, then walked to the Institute for the tea and toast.
Acting chair of the PCC, Charles Whitehead, expressed his gratitude to the ‘brilliant’ Camelford Town Band.
