This year's President of the Inner Wheel Club of Camelford is Pat Egan (pictured right).

Pat was born in Kettering, Northants and spent her childhood in North London and moved to Wickford in Essex in her early teens.

She spent the major part of her working life in the City and on taking early retirement, first retrained as an alternative therapist and then went on to work in the NHS as a Mental Health Act Manager in a local psychiatric hospital.

She has been an Inner Wheel member for 25 years, first in District 24 where she was secretary three times and president twice.

In early 2006, Pat moved to Camel­ford and since joining the branch, has been secretary and now president.
