BUDE past and present was the theme for the flower festival held at St Michael and All Angels Church, Budehaven, over the Michaelmas weekend (September 27 to 29).

An array of flowers greeted all who attended the event. 24 exhibits were arranged around the church and over the pews by members of local organisations and clubs from art and craft societies, sports clubs, schools, churches, charities and more.

Churchwarden Christine Willey said arrangements were "truly magnificent".
