THE combined parishes of Forrabury, Minster, St Juliot, Lesnewth, Trevalga, Tintagel, Trethevy, and Otterham met together on Sunday, July 17, 11am, at Otterham and St Juliot Hall for a special Eucharistic to say farewell to the Rev Robert S Thewsey and his family, Margaret, Matthew and Rebecca.

Robert has served in these parishes for the last eight years and it is with great sadness that he has decided to move to pastures new.

The parishes all wished him well in his new role as Rector of Shiplake with Dunsden and Harpsden-cum-Bolney in the Diocese of Oxford.

Special thanks were also given to Robert’s wife, Margaret, for all her support to the local people in her role as a community nurse.

The Thewsey family thanked the gathered congregations, which included Tresparrett Methodist Chapel who had also come along to say farewell, for all their gifts, good wishes and support.
