PEOPLE attending the Launceston event with Kenyan born paralympian Anne Wafula-Strike, have described it as 'an inspiring day.'

Anne spoke of the challenges in her life and how she survived and overcame them. She said to the group that she sees herself and others who are termed disabled as 'differently able.'

Her visit began at Launceston Central Methodist Church when she addressed a large gathering from all over Cornwall representing Methodist Women in Britain (MWiB) at the Autumn District Day.
