ONCE again the St Teath carnival parade brought a colourful, noisy and happy end to a very successful carnival week.
Record numbers attended the wide range of entertainment, varying from magic and hypnotism to bingo.
Music lovers were catered for by a variety of groups and individuals, and a large amount of money was raised for the St Teath children’s play area and for Children’s Hospice South West — over £5,000 was raised from an auction.
They were accompanied with some wonderful music from the Bodmin Town Band, Jumping Out Jazz and Samba B.
The trophies and prizes were presented by the carnival princesses, Lilya and Sophie.
A spokesperson for the St Teath carnival committee said: “The committee wish to thank all those who helped and those who joined in with the activities and made this such a successful carnival week.”
