The Launceston & District Cats Protection held an Easter fayre on Saturday, April 20 at Lifton Church Hall.

Although the weather was ideal for the beach and relaxing, the event did draw an enormous amount of people. The room was packed with good quality items. There was also an egg-themed event whereby children could try to find an Easter egg, which proved to be very enjoyable and popular for those that attended.

All the usual stalls – books, tombola, bric-a-brac, clothes, household items, and many more were available. There was also a large raffle to take part in. They even had a selection of mouth-watering cakes available, plus hot pasties and tea/coffee. The amount raised was £1,082.15 – a sum the branch is ‘extremely delighted with’.
