With the cancellation of Launceston and Camelford agricultural shows in the past few weeks, previous rain could have caused an air of doubt that the 116th show would be a victim of the same fate, but there was no fear of it being called off, reassured chairman John Britton.
"There was no question it would be cancelled," said John, fulfilling his first year as show chairman.
With new tracks in place and well drained ground, the sights of people stodging around in thick mud were a thing of the past.
John's positivity echoed across the showground as smiles beamed from visitors and exhibitors.
