A SMALL group of motorcycling friends, known collectively as the Moorlanders Motorcycle Club (MCC), gathered on a chilly Davidstow Airfield in the early hours of Easter Sunday, waiting to see what would come of their months of planning and preparation.

The answer came soon enough, as a distant rumble of motorbikes heralded the beginning of the Moorlanders' annual Charity Egg Run. Soon the airfield became a hive of activity, with the runway lined with over 500 bikes and filled with folk meeting and greeting each other.
