BUDEHAVEN Community School hosted the first of its 'Olympic Extravaganzas' for Key Stage One Primary School pupils aged between five-and-seven-years-old recently.

In total 374 Year One and Year Two pupils from the feeder primary schools of Bude and St Breock Primary School from Wadebridge arrived at the site to be greeted by the first rays of sunshine for several days. St Breock have played a large part in this Olympic project due to being an advocate school and having been awarded a 'Plan your 2012 Grant' from The Get set Educational department at LOCOG. The grant is also supported by the Department of Education to help part fund this amazing event.
