MORE than 300 people paid their respects at Camelford on Remembrance Sunday.
The parade assembled at Bowood Park before the march to Lanteglos Church, where wreath laying took place, followed by a service.
Camelford Royal British Legion chairman and Poppy Appeal organiser Julian Harman said: “This year saw over 300 in attendance with the church struggling to seat everyone and the church collection around £100 up on last year, which all goes to the Poppy Appeal.”
On Remembrance Day, Friday, November 11, Camelford Royal British Legion held two minutes’ silence at 11am to remember the men and women who have died in all wars, followed by a service.
