A VAN became stuck down a narrow lane between Treguddick and Lewannick in 2017 and the image has now garnered much interest online.
Heather Knight and her partner Dan were walking along the narrow country lane between Treguddick and Lewannick in 2017 when they came across the van wedged between the high walls of the narrow track, to which Heather exclaimed ‘Only in Cornwall!’
She told the Post: “We were walking up a track from Treguddick to Lewannick in May 2017 and discovered the abandoned van about three quarters of the way down the track from Lewannick. We were both very surprised as we didn’t think the track was suitable for vehicles.
“I’ve no idea how long the van had been there or how it was removed, but we did see a local farmer and his son who said they knew about it and were on their way to take a look.”
Heather decided to share this image with the world and posted it to the Facebook page ‘Cornwall For Everyone’ and has been blown away by how popular the image has become. She said: “I originally posted the picture to the Cornwall For Everyone group because I thought a few people would find it funny and might be able to relate to the narrow country lanes. I had no idea over 1.2k people would react to it, or that it would get shared over 770 times!”
