THE Rotary Club of Holsworthy regrets to announce that the current Coronavirus outbreak means that this year’s ‘Extravaganza’, which was due to take place on Friday, March 20, has been cancelled.
Club president Peter Bumby said: “We are very sorry to have to cancel the Extravaganza, which has a special place both for Rotary and the town. But we are well aware that coronavirus may pose a risk to our community, and we are conscious of our duty of care to our supporters. We therefore felt that the only prudent thing we could do was to cancel the event. But rest assured that it will be back!”
Refunds for tickets already purchased are available at HBH Woolacotts in The Square.
The associated prize draw will still go ahead. Prizes include a £50 Waitrose gift voucher, a £30 HBH Woolacott’s gift voucher, and a hamper of goodies. Draw tickets will be on sale in The Square and in the Cowshed Café at the livestock market on the next two Wednesdays.
