CAMELFORD Town Council organised an event on Saturday, which combined a celebration of St Piran’s Day and Clean for the Queen.
Clean for the Queen was a national event as part of the celebrations for the Queen’s 90th birthday later in the year.
In Camelford, the focus was on Enfield Park and town councillors were joined by members of the community to clean the park, including de-weeding the pond at the top of the park.
Proceedings were launched with a rendition of Trelawny and everyone was served with refreshments by members of the Camelford WI, which included pasties.
Cllr Rotchell said: “Thanks to everyone involved in making it a great event.”
