IN SPITE of a less than favourable weather forecast, and a still troublesome economic climate, Camelford's annual Party on the Pitch was once again a hit amongst visitors and organisers on Saturday, July 9.

The forecast wet weather never did arrive and around 750 people were welcomed to the event, from which donations are going to Camelford AFC's Floodlight Fund. Nearly £2,000 was raised on the day, and with a range of great entertainment on show, visitors got their money's worth.
