A LAUNCESTON lady has generated over 20 hours of interest and engaged with more than 300 people on an online social networking site after complaining about the price of car park tickets in Launceston.

Leigh Talbot recently wrote on Facebook about her experience in a Cornwall Council car park and the high price jumps between hourly rates.

She highlighted that the 'free parking after 4pm' scheme was not beneficial for mothers as there is "nothing worse than picking up children and expecting them to traipse the streets cold, tired and hungry."

Many local people agreed with Mrs Talbot, even some who had moved away from the area commented on her post.
