THE Cornwall Council One Stop Shop was officially launched at Camelford recently.

The One Stop Shop is based in the town at the former North Cornwall District Council offices at College Road.

The launch was hosted by Gill Steward, the new Corporate Director for Communities.

As well as key speakers, the event was also attended by Chris Simms, who is the Community Network Manager for the local area.

Representatives from Delabole Fire Brigade were present as well as a number of students from Camelford Primary School and Sir James Smith's Community School, Camelford.

The One Stop Shop will be manned by Denise Williams and Julia Nutt, and will be open to members of the public who have questions or queries regarding council services.
