DIVISION Two leaders Week St. Mary travelled to St Stephen, with several regular players missing, to face a team unbeaten at home this season. They battled hard and dug deep, twice coming from behind to finally take all 3 points, writes Chris Warneford.

Nick Spry put the hosts five minutes but Week hit back five minutes later through manager Tom Hannaford. Jamie Hellier restored the home lead but Wayne Hannaford's strike put the visitors back on level terms.

Late in the first half the hosts could have gone ahead but after two vital blocks from 'keeper Matt Oke the final effort was blasted way over the bar and it was Week that got their nose in front when Rob Hambly netted from close range just before the break.

St Stephen had the better of the second half but Week worked hard, and with Darren Johns marshalling the defence and Matt Oke making two more important stops, the score remained 3-2 to the visitors.
