PINK was the colour at a recent fundraiser for the Minster Community Fellowship

Fluffy pink pigs raced in lanes along a large table at the novel event at Boscastle Farm Shop.

The fundraiser was organised for adults and children alike and this it certainly did, given the noise level during the races as everyone cheered on their favourite pig.

Halfway through the evening the pigs had a rest and everyone tucked into a delicious hog roast put on by the farm shop. Followed by more races and a raffle with prizes donated by Bruallen of Delabole, The Picture Parlour of Boscastle and members of the MCF Committee.

The event raised £541 towards the renovation and running costs of Minster Church in Boscastle. Thanks were expressed to businesses for sponsoring a race, the farm shop for hosting the event and Pink Pig Racing SW, who provided the entertainment for the enjoyable evening.
