In partnership with Lowender Peran, our Cornish language residency will be returning to St Endellion this October. We will be supporting several composers, musicians and writers to develop the use of the Cornish language in their creative practice. Come along for an exciting evening of performances and see what our residents have been working on.

Wells Cathedral School

We are delighted to be joined by the students from Wells Cathedral School - one of just three specialist music schools in England. Students receive first-class pre-professional training from world-class musicians. Over the last fifty years, young musicians from the school have secured places at many of the major music conservatoires and universities in the UK and beyond.

Endelienta Arts Make Club: Landscape Drawing Stone Barn

Saturday, October 14, 10am-12pm

£5 per family

Create landscape concertina sketches exploring pattern, colour, texture, light and shadow. If the weather is good we will take a short walk together so we can draw inspiration from our surroundings.

Each month we have new creative ideas to keep the whole family busy. The Make Club is a fun space to explore, create and get messy. The workshops are led by inspirational artists and makers. Remember to book in advance as tickets sell out fast.

The Haar

The Haar introduces the formidable talent of traditional Irish singer Molly Donnery combined with three of the most exciting instrumentalists on the folk and traditional music circuit: Cormac Byrne, Adam Summerhayes and Murray Grainger. Their unique music transcends borders - whilst embracing the traditional music that the members have grown up around.

Future Routes: Music

Are you a musician aged between 18-25, based in / from Cornwall and looking to kickstart a career in music? Look no further! Endelienta Arts are proud to be launching Future Routes: Music.

This opportunity is open to musicians and singers from all genres (including classical and opera).

The five successful applicants will receive a year of 1-to-1 mentoring with top industry professionals from their respective musical genres.

Your mentor will guide you through the early stage of your career with advice, support, and industry knowledge. Successful applicants will also receive:

£1000 to work on their music.

£600 travel and ticket bursary to attend industry events across Cornwall and the UK.

Free tickets to all Endelienta Arts and selected partner events.

Four training days led by professionals from across the UK focussing on different aspects of a successful music career.

Performance opportunities at Endelienta Arts.

50 hours work experience at Endelienta Arts across a range of roles including music/venue management, marketing, running music events and more. Paid at £12.50/hour.

To apply, you must be between the ages of 18-25 (at the end of 2024) and based in or from Cornwall.
