LITTLE Acorns Nursery, Camelford, is preparing the children for Clean Camelford Week from Monday, June 27 to Friday, July 1. The children will clear litter during the week from areas surrounding the nursery. To celebrate the anticipated success, the nursery has invited all to Enfield Park on the Friday at 4.30pm to clean the park and then bring a picnic and sit together and enjoy! The local secondary school, Sir James Smith's, businesses, parents, scouts, police cadets, rainbows, Debbie Ebsary (street ranger) and many more have agreed to support this week by 'cleaning up' during their sessions. According to Helen Sleep, nursery manager, the response has been brilliant. Kerry Corner, deputy manager, said: "Children learn by what they see, so if we can teach them to care for their environment from an early age, it will surely have a positive effect for the future."
