AROUND £3,800 has been donated to charities from money raised by Tintagel Orpheus Male Voice Choir. Five charities have benefitted from the amount, which was raised at summer concerts, produce auctions and raffles. Riding for the Disabled, North Cornwall, received £500, along with Tintagel Methodist Church, where the choir rehearses and holds concerts, and which is undergoing a considerable programme of repair. A further £500 was donated to The Children's Clinic for Cornwall, based in Lostwithiel. Dr Kreagh, from Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, representing the Cornwall Leukaemia Trust, received £500. For the full report, and a round-up of the area news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.
