FURTHER to the letter from Mrs Gimlinge (the 'Post', April 23), I do so agree with her comments about the lack of comfortable seating near the Lower Wharf of Bude Canal.

I too live near there and like her have no transport and some difficulty walking. As for the Lower Wharf being a 'pedestrianised' area — it is not easy walking, making the provision of 'proper' seating even more essential.
