North Petherwin Football Club donated their faces for the whole of November to grow moustaches for the Prostate Cancer Charity. The club would like to thank everyone who sponsored them for Movember and so far they have raised an amazing £1,007.70 with more money coming in. They would also like to give a big thank you to Sarah Lake and Sara Blake for organising the event and collecting all the money. A spokesperson said: "Despite some of them looking really silly and getting a lot of stick it was a good effort by all; well done lads." Due to raising over £1,000 the two managers Barry 'Bridget' Rutherford and Nick Jeffery will be taking part in a full body waxing as a reward for the players putting in a good effort. This will take place at the Countryman Inn.

With their moustaches, from left at the Countryman Inn on Tuesday, November 30 are Max Deeble, Barry Rutherford (Reserve Team Manager), Peter Blake, Stuart Gavin (Assistant First Team Manager), Adam Faulkner, Ollie Bennellick. front, Tanya Callow-Trujillo, Jim Werren (Club Captain) and landlord Richard Cole.
