FOR many years I have enjoyed a round on Bude's 'Pitch and Putt' course above Crooklets Beach. To my great disappointment, it was closed last summer and shows no sign of re-opening this year.

Surely something must be done to ensure that local people and thousands of visitors can continue to enjoy sport in the open air.
