A 34-year-old mother was ‘over the moon’ to discover she had won a national competition — by posting a picture of her daughter enjoying the great outdoors.
Donna Johns, a kitchen assistant from Bude, won a £250 Joules gift card, a free eye test and a pair of stylish Joules frames.
The Facebook competition was launched by Vision Express to celebrate its second Joules eyewear collection launch earlier this year.
Donna said: “It was a big surprise when I found out I had won the competition. I couldn’t believe it to start off with.
“I chose the Joules Beatrice frames because they’re a lovely shape and colour, and they’re perfect. I can’t wait to spend the gift card too.”
A customer at the Vision Express store on Belle Vue for the past 18 months, Donna was named the winner after uploading a photograph of her family enjoying the Cornish countryside.
Vision Express Bude store manager Sharon Pritchard added: “It’s fantastic that one of our customers has won the competition. The Joules range is really popular and Donna looks great in her new frames.”
