ANOTHER difficult spring and early summer didn't disturb the success of St Teath Village Show this year with an increase in entries, totalling 548.

Villagers, members of the Women's Institute and garden club, plus over 100 items directly from the pupils of St Teath Primary School, all entered into the annual show.

Chairman David Jasper said: "It never ceases to amaze, even the most experienced showman, how first class produce can be achieved under such trying conditions as we have had this year (but then isn't every year just the same?)."
