HUNDREDS turned out for Bude-Stratton Heritage Day at The Castle and were greeted with a host of attractions for all ages.

The annual Heritage Day was held on August 5, and saw everything from food and drink to vintage fairground rides, and while the recent bad weather did threaten to cause problems, the sun shone through to make for a fantastic afternoon.

Crowds were kept entertained with music from Bude Metric Brass, The Barrel Rock Boys, Bude Town Band and The Bencoolen Wreckers, all introduced by Cllr Paul Tilzey.
