JUNIOR members of the North Cornwall Table Tennis Association are delighted to be able to play table tennis on seven new rollaway tables thanks to the receipt of two grants. The association received a magnificent amount of £2,000 from the Cornwall Community Foundation and also an appreciative sum of £380 from Councillors Adam Paynter and Mike Nicholls to make this purchase possible. The 20/30 junior members had been playing on tables which were over 20 years old and were becoming unsafe and difficult to set up and down. An application was made to the CCF, which is one of the biggest independent charities in Cornwall, and the committee and juniors were delighted to have been successful.
