RESIDENTS of a large part of Launceston will effectively be disenfranchised from having a say on running the town's services and amenities under the new Cornwall super council, it has been claimed. Under the proposals, the town itself will be split into north and south divisions but the whole of the vast housing complex at Eastfield would not form part of this. Instead, residents would vote in what would amount to a Stokeclimsland Division, it was claimed at the monthly meeting of Launceston Town Coun cil.
