THE work of Tintagel’s recent parish clerk has been acknowledged with the arrival of a new seat dedicated to her work.
Members of the Tintagel Parish Council gathered in Gavercombe Park, Tintagel, on Thursday, March 17 to see the new seat.
According to Mary Dyer, chairman of the parish council, the council wanted to honour the exceptional work of Sue Moth over the ten years she had dedicated to serving the parish.
Sue retired as the clerk in 2014.
Now the seat stands in Gavercombe Park with the notion that Sue’s dedication to her work will be acknowledged and cherished by residents and visitors to the area for many years to come.
