THE people of Kensey Valley Mead­ow in Launceston have successfully formed a residents' association.

The new group is working to ensure the hand over of the development from builders Elan Homes to Cornwall Council as well as to organise community events.

The group has been formed with the help of Alison Gibson and Mark O'Brien, officers of Cornwall Council, and with the support of Cornwall Councillor for Launceston Central Alex Folkes.

The new residents' association will be chaired by John Belsey, with vice-chair Mike Childs, secretary Ellie Mason and treasurer Gemma Kee.
