IT WAS the first year the Ruby Run was held in the rain on Sunday, June 12, but it did not dampen the enthusiasm of those who took part.

The Mayor of Hatherleigh, Graham Alford, and Holsworthy Deputy Mayor, Rebecca Buckingham, braved the atrocious weather to support the event and present the prizes.
