The annual general meeting of Launceston Agricultural Show was held at The Eagle House on Tuesday, November 8.

Mr Graham Tucker of Lewannick was elected as President for the 2023 show which is to be held on Thursday, July 27.

The previous show was announced as a resounding success by the retiring president Mr Derek Broad of Homeleigh and Mrs Cat Screech, the show treasurer.

The show secretary, Mrs Claire Fry, is to retire after four years in the role. Her replacement is to be announced shortly.

Flowers were presented to the former President’s wife Enis Broad- and Secretary Claire Fry.

Votes of thanks were given to elected officers and all helpers who had a role in the successful show held in the summer.
