A new weekly parking 'passport' permit has been introduced in Pembrokeshire.

The £20 permit is designed to give motorists the flexibility to use up to 16 of the county council's long-stay car parks.

Drivers can apply for a permit for a week of their choice - or a number of weeks.

"The aim is to give anyone travelling extensively around Pembrokeshire over the period of a week or more the freedom to use a wide variety of our long-stay car parks for a fee," said Clr. Rob Lewis, cabinet member for transportation.

The passport can be used at: Marine Road - Broad Haven, Dale, Parc Y Shwt - Fishguard, West Street - Fishguard, Parrog - Goodwick, Castle Lake - Haverfordwest, multi-storey - Haverfordwest, Scotchwell - Haverfordwest, Townsmoor - Narberth, Newgale, Long Street - Newport, The Common - Pembroke, multi-storey - Tenby, Salterns - Tenby, The Green - Tenby, North Beach - Tenby, South Beach - Tenby.

Anyone interested in buying a passport permit needs to complete an application form available from Pembrokeshire County Council.
