AN evening of ‘Family Fun’ was held on Monday, July 9, at Stanhope Park’s new pavilion as part of St Peter’s Fair week.

There was a barbecue and refreshments, which provided everyone with enough energy to have a go on the bouncy castle as well as other games before trying their luck at the tombola raffles.

During the event, youngsters were able to learn more about their local emergency service teams. Children were also given the chance to sit in a real fire engine and try on some of the kit and the police offered a fingerprinting station.
