The Holsworthy and District Diabetic Support Group was set up three years ago to support diabetics and give them and their carers the chance to learn more about their condition and how to help themselves.

Currently there are between 20 and 30 members who meet once a month at the hospital, usually at 7pm on the first Monday of each month.

The Annual General Meeting was held recently and a programme of speakers with a specialist knowledge of diabetes as well as an annual dinner at the Golf Club in October was announced throughout this year.
