THE new Luncheon Club in Bridgerule is going from strength to strength.

Fifteen people, mostly members of the Coffee Club, enjoyed a two-course meal with tea and coffee served afterwards.

There are always two choices of both the first course and the pudding.

It is a lovely occasion and provides the chance to meet others and have a chat — don’t be alone, come and join the group.

The group can arrange lifts to the hall or meals can be delivered to people’s homes if necessary.

Held at the village hall the next luncheon club meeting will be on Thursday, February 22, to be seated by 12.30pm and the choice is for fish pie or steak and ale pie with Jill and Fran doing the cooking and Sheila and Audrey waiting at tables.
