LAUNCESTON Girls Under-15 rugby team are pictured in their new samurai rugby kit. The kit was won by my wife Michelle Rowland from an advert on a face book page I was on, it was advertised as a competition for grassroots rugby run by AEG the electrical company, my wife entered for the girls and I entered for my son's team and no more was thought about it until in the middle of the summer. Michelle had a call asking us to design a kit from the samurai website which we did and looks fantastic we even got the name of our family pub The Village Inn Ashwater printed on the back. The kit was delivered earlier this month kindly paid for by AEG. This picture is now on the AEG website http://www.aeg.co.uk/grassroots">www.aeg.co.uk/grassroots find the final 50 page and vote for Launceston girls! They could win a training day with the England rugby team and every vote is entered into a draw for a five star holiday to Sardinia. The girls are also inviting any girls that would like to give rugby a try and improve their fitness to come down to Polson Bridge on a Monday night 6.30pm for 7pm start and all are welcome.
