Camelford Town Band have recently purchased two brand new instruments to help them prepare for the busy summer season ahead of them. The band have purchased a York Cornet and a small Eb base at a total cost of £1,900. This money was raised by the band during last year's season. The band will be travelling many miles over the next few months, playing in Newquay, Camborne and Padstow as well as attending the many local carnivals and fetes in the area. At present the band is busy preparing for a night of Andrew Lloyd Webber's music at Lanteglos Church in April, which will be their first engagement of the year.
