A two-vehicle road traffic collision occurred between a Renault Scenic and a road sweeper truck on Tuesday.

The incident occurred at 10.30 am on the A478 New Hedges bypass.

The female driver of the Scenic received treatment from paramedics for minor injuries, but did not require hospitalisation. No other persons were injured.

The fire and rescue service assisted with the recovery of the vehicles.

The road was cleared by midday.
