THE first Holsworthy Harvest Festival was held on Friday, October 12.
The Dairy Ring at Holsworthy Livestock Market was the venue for the Harvest Service with permission by Kivells.
The chaplaincy team, headed by rural worker Andy Jerrard, organised the thanksgiving for farmers. It was well attended with rural people from a wide area.
The Northlew Silver Band played harvest hymns and some reflective music after a talk by Rev Jane Lucas, Priest-in -Charge of Ashwater, Beaworthy, Clawton, Halwill and Tetcott.
