A NEW dog bin is to be installed at the northern junction of Trevilley Lane in St Teath.

Over the last few months there have been plenty of complaints from locals and walkers about the number of dog messes either left untouched or the number of bags left lying around in the area.

Cllrs Moyna Fox and Tracy Weeks have been busy working on the best location for the bin with both possibilities seven-metres from the St Teath Parish Council bench and in against the hedge.

After much debate at the recent parish council meeting as to whether it’ll make dog owners pick up their pets’ mess, a vote was taken which saw six of the councillors pass the proposal with three abstaining.

Further details of when it’ll be installed will be decided at a later date.
