Launceston Forum, the county and district councils, The Cornwall Centre for Volunteers and a group of committed volunteers are working toward establishing a new community bus scheme for Launceston and its surrounding parishes. The scheme is intended to fill the gaps where commercial operators do not currently provide a service in Launceston and within a 15 kilometre radius of the town centre. The scheme will also prioritise surrounding parishes where there is currently no other assisted transport scheme in place.
